McBride Homes Announces Jake Eilermann as President

McBride Homes, the largest home builder in Missouri, is proud to announce the promotion of Jake Eilermann to President of McBride Homes.

“Jake has shown true dedication and leadership throughout his years at McBride,” stated John F. Eilermann Jr., CEO and Chairman at McBride Homes. “He has played an integral role in the growth of our company, including the success of our world-class Design Studio.”

Jake graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Master of Architecture, Master of Science Civil Engineering: Construction Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies. 

After school, Jake worked for a boutique architecture firm called VOA Associates in Chicago, Illinois. At the firm, Jake worked on numerous high-rise mixed use projects and took the lead on a 24-story high-rise in the West Loop – 118 N. Jefferson. 

After VOA, Jake moved back to his hometown of St. Louis to join McBride Homes as the Manager of Architecture. Within the year, Jake was promoted to Vice President of Architecture, Purchasing, and the Design Studio, which Jake helped conceptualize and design.

McBride's Design Studio, a $4 million homebuyer selection center located in Chesterfield Valley, provides a one-of-a-kind customer experience for their 850+ home buyers each year. At 10,000 square feet, this is the largest Design Studio in the Midwest and is both locally and nationally recognized (St. Louis Business Journal Building St. Louis Awards 2019 finalist, Silver Award for The Nationals’ Best Design Center from the National Association of Home Builders, and IIDA RMC Best Award – Best Retail). This endeavor has completely changed McBride's business model by increasing gross profit, while amplifying McBride's unwavering commitment to providing the best homebuying journey for their customers.

“Today's announcement recognizes the significant contribution that Jake has brought to McBride Homes,” added Eilermann. “I believe his broad experience and proven leadership will be invaluable and play a critical role when helping guide the company’s day-to-day operations.”

Jake is currently the President Elect of SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Development Board. On the board Jake is currently the chairman for the annual Scoops of Fun Magic House event annually raising over $30,000. He also is heavily involved with the American Institute of Architects and the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Saint Louis as Chairman of Member Development Committee.
