McBride Homes’ Long-Awaited Crestwood Crossing Set to Open for Information on August 1st
July 14, 2022
McBride Homes, Missouri’s largest home builder, is excited to announce the opening of a new community, Crestwood Crossing, located at the old site of Crestwood Mall.
The property is located off Watson Road, just east of Sappington Road.
The community is set to open for sales on Saturday, August 27th, but McBride will start taking appointments on August 1st so prospects can learn about available floorplans and homesites.
“We are excited to open this long-awaited new community in Crestwood and bring new construction to the area,” said John F. Eilermann Jr., CEO and Chairman of McBride Homes. “This tract of land has a long history and is very well-known in the metro area, and our phones have been ringing off the hook since we first announced this community over a year ago. We already have over 700 names on the VIP interest list. It’s definitely going to be a homerun.”
Crestwood Crossing will include 81 single family homes with pricing from the $320’s to $600’s. The community will offer 34 homes from McBride’s Bayside Series, 16 from their Oakwood Series, and 31 city-style homes that were featured at La Collina, McBride’s recent neighborhood development on The Hill.
For one day only during their grand opening on August 27th, buyers will receive $20,000 off the base price.
“We wanted something for everyone at Crestwood Crossing, combining a great location with an incredible variety of floorplans,” stated Eilermann. “There is a lot of pent-up demand for new housing in Crestwood and we are thrilled to create something special in this prime location off Watson Road.”
The 47-acre property was rezoned by the City of Crestwood in 2021 as a mixed-use development for McBride Homes and Dierbergs Markets.
“We worked closely with the City to create a comprehensive neighborhood development plan,” said Eilermann. “One of our main goals in this project is to support existing Crestwood shops and local franchises, while bringing exciting new retail outlets including a world-class Dierbergs Market.”
The residential and commercial uses within the project will be connected by sidewalks and trails. Plans for the project includes numerous public gathering spaces, outdoor restaurant seating, and a public plaza space with a water feature. In addition, the residential neighborhood will incorporate a connection to Grant’s Trail.
“This is one of the most exciting pieces of ground in the metropolitan area,” said Eilermann. “With this location, innovative floorplans, and the robust site plan, this neighborhood is sure to be the talk of the town. We can’t wait to see it come to life. “
