Grand Opening set for New Manchester Community on Old JFK School Site

December 13, 2021

McBride Homes, Missouri’s largest home builder, is excited to announce the grand opening of a new community, Celtic Meadows, located in Manchester.

The 21-acre property, located near the intersection of Highway 141 and Manchester Road, was the former site of John F. Kennedy Catholic High School and most recently a campus extension for Fontbonne University.

“We are excited to develop this new community in the City of Manchester and bring new construction to the Parkway School District,” said John F. Eilermann Jr., CEO and Chairman of McBride Homes. “There is a lot of pent-up demand in the area for new homes and we are thrilled to work closely with the City of Manchester to create a beautiful neighborhood in this prime West County location.”

The community of 68 single family homes is set to open for information on Saturday, December 18th and will begin sales on Saturday, January 15th.

The neighborhood will feature McBride Homes “Oakwood Series” of floorplans featuring ranch, story-and-a-half, and two-story homes.

All homes will include a three car garage and pricing will begin from the $530’s.

“The homesites are located on quiet circle street offering a private and serene setting,” said Eilermann. “With this location off Highway 141 and the incredible value of premier West County living from the $530’s, these homes are sure to sell quickly.”

Celtic Meadows, located off Burgundy Road, is just minutes from Highway 141, Hwy 40, I-270 and Manchester Road, plus it’s located in the AAA-rated Parkway School District.

“One of our main goals in this project is to support existing Manchester retail, the Parkway School District, private schools and churches, and local franchises,” stated Eilermann. “This is one of the most coveted pieces of land in West County and we are excited to offer something similar to our recent Highlands project, which sold out in record time.”

The Arbors at the Highlands, McBride’s recent Manchester community that opened in September, sold all 60 homesites in less than three months.

“Celtic Meadows is getting a lot of interest, and our list has grown to over 250 names,” said Eilermann. “We are excited to open this new community in West County and help families find their dream home. These homes will definitely sell fast, just like The Highlands, especially in the current market.”

To visit the community sales center onsite, take Highway 141 to east on Burgundy Lane to immediate right on Woods Mill Road.
